December was another busy month at Paul Turner Signwriters. With a wide range of vehicle wrapping, van graphics and fleet branding projects completed before the Christmas break. From premium car wrap transformations to large commercial fleet installations. Our team worked on vehicles for clients across Ripon, North Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire region.
Here are a few of the projects that stood out during December.
Range Rover Satin Black Vehicle Wrap – Ripon
One of the most striking projects this month was a Range Rover that arrived at our Ripon workshop with a badly damaged aftermarket wrap. The vehicle had previously been wrapped in satin black. But years of wear and scratching had left the finish looking tired and inconsistent.
The new owner loved the satin black appearance and wanted to restore the vehicle to its former look. We therefore completed a full rewrap using 3M 2080 Satin Black. This is a premium vinyl known for its durability and smooth finish.
The process began with the careful removal of the damaged vinyl across every panel. Once removed, the original white paintwork was inspected and thoroughly cleaned before the new wrap was installed. As certified 3M Gold Select Partners, we work with premium materials and proven installation techniques to ensure a flawless result.
The finished vehicle left the workshop with a smooth satin black finish that completely transformed the appearance of the Range Rover.
Professional Van Graphics Installation in North Yorkshire
We also worked with a returning client who had recently launched a new business and needed professional van graphics in North Yorkshire for their first commercial vehicle.
Starting with a completely blank van. We worked closely with the client through the design process to create a clean and highly visible layout that clearly communicates the brand and services. Once the design was approved, the graphics were produced in house using premium vinyl before being professionally installed by our experienced team.
The completed van now operates across Yorkshire, acting as a highly effective mobile advertisement and helping the new business build brand visibility on the road.
Ford Transit Fleet Branding Project
Another project completed in December involved a fleet branding upgrade for long standing client Debriar Ltd. The company had recently added a Long Wheelbase Ford Transit to their fleet. They wanted the new vehicle to match their existing branding.
Rather than relying entirely on printed graphics, we used a combination of premium self coloured vinyl and precision cut lettering. This approach provides a cleaner finish across panels, stronger colour consistency and improved durability over time.
The completed vehicle now integrates seamlessly with the rest of the Debriar fleet. Ensuring a consistent and professional appearance wherever their vehicles operate.
MAN TGX Fleet Graphics Installation for Wastecare
December finished with one of the largest projects of the month. Completing branding across ten new MAN TGX tractor units for long term client Wastecare.
Fleet branding projects of this scale require careful scheduling, in-house production and experienced installation teams. Helping to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to specification. For this project, we combined digitally printed wrap sections with precision computer cut vinyl lettering. This helped us to achieve a bold and highly visible design.
All ten vehicles were completed and delivered on time, ready to join Wastecare’s national fleet. As they travel across the UK, these trucks now act as powerful mobile advertising for the Wastecare brand.
