One of our most impressive recent projects involved completing a full horsebox and trailer wrap for HK Horses. The project transformed a large Oatley Scania horsebox and trailer from its original blue finish into a sleek gloss grey colour change wrap, designed to match the rest of the company’s fleet.
Completed at our Garforth workshop near Leeds in March 2026, this installation represents one of the largest vehicle wrapping projects our team has undertaken to date.

Original Horsebox
The Oatley Scania horsebox and trailer were originally finished in blue. Before installation began, our team carried out a site visit to measure the vehicle, review colour samples, and calculate the vinyl required to ensure the new wrap would match the client’s existing fleet branding.
Project Objectives
The main goals for this project were:

- Large-scale wrap quality: a full horsebox and trailer wrap completed to a high professional standard
- Durable and eye-catching finish: premium materials suitable for daily use and travel
Materials Used
For this project we used premium wrapping materials to ensure durability and a high-quality finish.
- Vinyl Wrap: 3M 2080 Gloss Storm Grey
- Supplier: William Smith Group 1832
- Total Vinyl Used: Exactly 160 meters !!!!!
- 3M 2080 wrap film: provides excellent durability, colour consistency, and a professional gloss finish, making it ideal for large commercial vehicle wraps.
Measuring & Design Planning
Before installation began, our team carefully measured the horsebox and trailer panels, reviewed colour samples with the client, and calculated the required vinyl quantities.
This preparation ensures a precise installation process and a consistent final finish across the entire vehicle.
Our technicians installed the wrap using professional tools and techniques designed for large vehicle applications.
The vehicle was over 10 years old, which meant additional preparation was required before installation. This included:
- Panel repairs
- Removal of fittings and fixtures
- Surface preparation and cleaning
Each section of the vehicle was wrapped individually, including:
- Cab
- Main body
- Steps
- Storage compartments
- Pull-out sections
- Trailer panels
Using 3M 2080 Wrap Film with air-release technology, our installers achieved a smooth, bubble-free finish across the entire vehicle.
